Apple Fitness+ added group workouts and meditation sessions Monday, letting users communicate in real time with up to 32 other people. The new capability taps FaceTime’s new SharePlay feature, which works on iOS devices now and comes to macOS Monterey later this fall.

“It’s a really fun way to connect with friends and family, even trade some words of encouragement or friendly smack talk, while also making progress toward closing their rings,” said Jay Blahnik, Apple’s vice president of fitness technologies, in a press release.

Apple hints at Apple Music for ‘gaming consoles’ after PS5 leak

Apple’s website has been updating to include a reference to Apple Music for “gaming consoles.” It comes less than a week after the service was first spotted (but unavailable to download) on PlayStation 5.

The reference all but confirms Cupertino is indeed working to bring Apple Music to the latest game systems from Microsoft and Sony, alongside Apple TV, which is already available on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series S, and Xbox Series X.

It looks like Apple Music is on its way to compete with Spotify on PlayStation 5, with some users seeing an option to download the app when setting up a new user account on Sony’s latest home console.

Apple and Sony recently partnered to give PlayStation 5 owners six months of Apple TV+ free of charge, so an Apple Music app wouldn’t be totally out of the blue. However, it seems it’s not quite ready to roll out just yet.

The first trailer for The Shrink Next Door introduces the characters that fuel this upcoming dark comedy based on true events. The limited series, which stars Will Ferrell, Paul Rudd and Kathryn Hahn, debuts November 12 on Apple TV+.

The two-minute clip released Tuesday introduces us to the wealthy Martin “Marty” Markowitz (Ferrell) and his longtime therapist Dr. Isaac “Ike” Herschkopf (Rudd), who uses his charm and friendliness for exploitation and manipulation.
