Tim Cook celebrates the Mac on its 35th anniversary

Apple CEO Tim Cook took to Twitter today to celebrate the 35th anniversary of the Mac.

Steve Jobs, Apple co-founder and former CEO, unveiled the very first Macintosh on January 24, 1984. The machine had been teased in a now-famous Super Bowl commercial two days earlier.

“It changed the way we think about computers and went on to change the world,” Cook says.

Hulu drops price of cheapest streaming tier

Catching up on your favorite network TV shows through Hulu is about to get a little bit cheaper.

Hulu revealed today that it will lower the price of its most affordable tier from $8 to $6 per month. Of course, the new pricing comes with some compromises but it could help the streaming service gain some ground on its competition.

Every MacBook Pro since 2016 harbors a hidden design flaw that inevitably will require an expensive repair, according to DIY repair website iFixit.

The problem supposedly lies in “delicate” ribbon cables that connect the screen with the display controller inside the main body of the laptop. Opening and closing the clamshell case eventually causes these to wear out and begin to tear, iFixit says.

The first iOS update of the year is finally ready for the masses.

Apple is releasing iOS 12.1.3 today, bringing a number of bug fixes and performance improvements to the iPhone and iPad. iOS 12.1.3 is a minor update and doesn’t contain any big UI changes or new features, but it resolves some important issues with CarPlay, iMessage, Photos and the iPad Pro.

The upcoming Breaking Bad: Criminal Elements is seemingly set during the timeline of the show’s original run. The game features key characters including meth-cooking science teacher Walter White and drug world baddies like Gus Fring, Saul Goodman and Mike Ehrmantraut. The game should land on iPhones later this year, b**ch!
