The Apple TV app for macOS is reportedly about to get a redesign that includes a left sidebar. That will apparently make it nearly identical to the iPad version.
The update might debut in macOS Ventura 13.3, which is currently in beta.
Apple released tvOS 16.3.3 on Monday, but it makes only a single change: it fixes a connection bug that’s caused problems with the Siri Remote since the latest Apple TV 4K version debuted in late 2022.
The update is available only for that model. Users of other versions shouldn’t waste time looking for it.

If this continues, check your Internet connection.” The ongoing problem apparently affects the Apple TV app, as well as the Apple TV+ streaming service and the channels subscribed to through the Apple TV app. On Macs, the message appeared in the Watch Now, Apple TV+ and Store tabs of Apple’s TV app.
