Developers received the iOS 11 GM version this afternoon following Apple’s keynote bringing a host of last minute bug fixes and performance improvements with it, along with new features specifically created for the iPhone X.

Today at 10 a.m. Pacific in Apple Park’s shiny new Steve Jobs Theater, the most futuristic smartphone to ever come out of Cupertino will finally be unveiled. Over a year’s worth of rumors have led to this moment. Even though there’s almost nothing we don’t know about the new smartphone, anticipation is still off the charts for Apple’s $1,000 iPhone.

Developers found no reference to Apple Watch Series 3 in the iOS 11 GM code, but we’re still confident the new wearable will get its grand unveiling tomorrow.

The device has already appeared inside iOS 11 itself, and now it’s even popping up in the official Verizon app.

Apple donates $5 million to hurricane relief effort

As Florida braces for one of the biggest hurricanes ever recorded, Apple is reaching into its wallet to help provide aid to victims of Hurricanes Harvey and Irma.

The iPhone-maker revealed today that it is donating $5 million to boost relief efforts for hurricane victims. The company is also making it easier for iTunes users to pitch in.
