A preview of Apple Music Classical appeared Thursday on the App Store. When available, the app will offer access to the world’s largest classical music catalog, with more than 5 million tracks. It’s free for Apple Music subscribers.

Apple first promised a standalone classical music app back in 2021. It was supposed to launch in 2022, but is actually coming in late March.

Alongside the release of its new Era 300 and Era 100 speakers, Sonos said Tuesday it will “add support for spatial audio on Apple Music in what will be a significant expansion of its next-gen sound experience offerings.”

The company said customers can access spatial audio on Apple Music via the Era 300 and two older Sonos speaker systems starting in three weeks — Tuesday, March 28 (the new speakers’ shipping date).

Apple introduced a veritable rainbow of new hues for Apple Watch bands Tuesday — including the new Hermès Casaque multicolor bands inspired by “bold jerseys worn by horse jockeys,” Apple said.

The top Casaque band, a double-strapped leather number with four colors in it, costs $599. And that’s with no watch included. But at least you get a borderline-hideous Apple Watch band.

Fortunately, new spring colors are also available for several styles of reasonably priced bands like the Solo Loop and Sport Band.

Half a dozen additional European countries will soon gain access to the iPhone 14 Emergency SOS via satellite feature. It was already available in six countries around the world.

It allows users away from cellular networks to reach out for help from almost anywhere … as long as the local emergency services are prepared for the satellite service.
