The iPhone 6s and 6s Plus haven’t even been announced yet, but already an Australian man is camping out in front of Sydney’s Apple Store with the aim of being the first person in the world to buy Apple’s next-gen handset.
And, weirdly enough, he doesn’t claim to be a particularly big Apple fan.

40-year-old Cameroonian musician Blick Bassy has revealed how his life was transformed when Apple chose one of his songs, “Kiki,” for part of its iPhone 6 ad campaign.
Although the ad only includes a 15-second excerpt of the song, Bassy says the resulting exposure has been greater than anything he has experienced in his 20 year musical career.
We know that the next Apple TV will be a radical, gaming focused overhaul of Apple’s streaming set-top box, but what will it actually look like? Wednesday will tell, but if it looks and feels anything like this iOS 9 overhauled concept by Andrew Ambrosino, we’ll be pretty happy indeed.

China’s smartphone market might be slowing down, but Apple’s not letting that stop it from ordering a record number of iPhone 6s units ahead of this week’s keynote unveiling.
According to sources in the iPhone supply chain, Apple has ordered higher than expected numbers of iPhone 6s and 6s Plus units.
Based on the quantities of components orders, these numbers will outstrip even last year’s record-breaking iPhone 6 and 6 Plus — suggesting that Apple expects to sell more of its next-gen iPhone than any previous iPhone in history.

The company’s written Apple an open letter, purchased billboards in Times Square and even rolled one of its giant billboards past the iconic Fifth Ave Apple Store.

In a rare showing, Apple has acknowledged that there is still “a bit of homework to be done” when it comes to improving one of its products — in this case, Apple Music.
The company’s streaming music service has seen mixed success since its launch back in June, with reports of falling listenership and even a public slating from a well-known pro-Apple pundit.
Recently Apple Music’s senior director upped and left the company, with no word on whether it was his or Apple’s decision to step down.

“They’re coming to us with more orders, saying ‘give us more, give us more’. They keep increasing,” Homma said.

At the IFA trade show in Berlin today, Huawei used the Force Touch display in its new Mate S smartphone to weigh an orange, a week before the technology is expected to make its way to the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus.
