Apple just started selling PlayStation VR2 Sense controllers on its website, offering Vision Pro gamers a route to a whole new level of interaction. The accessories, which Sony does not sell separately, should arrive in Apple Stores on November 17.

The PSV R2 Sense controllers wrap around each hand and feature a three-axis gyroscope, a three-axis accelerometer, and built-in buttons, triggers and analog sticks for enhanced VR gaming. Adding them to your Vision Pro setup should take gaming to a whole new level.

Unlike other VR headsets, the Apple Vision Pro does not come with physical controllers. While Vision Pro’s hand gestures work splendidly for navigating the headset’s user interface, they are not precise enough for gaming.

To solve this problem, Apple approached Sony about adding support for PlayStation’s VR2 hand controllers to the Vision Pro last year. The two companies then announced support for the controllers in visionOS 26 at WWDC25 last June.

Now, nearly four months later, Apple has started selling the PS VR2 Sense controllers directly through its online store. You can purchase a pair of them with a charging dock for $249.95.

Apple lays out the benefits of using the controllers in the product description on its website.

“Now it’s easy to navigate Apple Vision Pro using PlayStation VR2 Sense Controllers,” the site says. “Experience responses to your in-game actions, from subtle to intense, with vibration feedback. Reach out and touch the world around you as the controller senses the placement of your fingers with finger touch detection. Charge your PS VR2 Sense controller set and be ready for your next gaming sessions.”

Apple’s kit seems like the best way for Vision Pro gamers to acquire the Sony accessories. Since Sony doesn’t sell the PS VR2 Sense controllers separately, you would need to buy the entire PS VR2 kit (list price $399.99) just to get them. Plus, that kit doesn’t come with the PlayStation VR2 Sense Controller Charging Station, which Sony sells for $49.99.

The wider availability of the PS VR2 Sense controllers should encourage developers to bring more VR games to the Vision Pro, a platform that’s in dire need of fresh content for owners to enjoy.
