XFL, the football league founded by WWE chairman Vince McMahon, is coming back to screens nearly 20 years after its disastrous first iteration — and there’s an official app to prove it.

The eight-team XFL season debuts Saturday with the DC Defenders playing the Seattle Dragons. While the app won’t be streaming games, you can use it to get information such as real-time scores and stats, insider videos, and more.

The official XFL app promises the latest news and videos from the new upstart football league. It will offer real-time scores, stats, and scoring plays. You can also get up-to-date team and player stats and league standings, team rosters and schedules, a merchandise shop, digital ticket sales, and more.

The app won’t have live games, however. To watch those live, you’ll have to check out ABC, ESPN, Fox, and Fox Sports. The app says it will include video content, but it’s not yet clear what that will comprise. Not streaming games live is certainly interesting after WWE went all-in on streaming video (killing its pay-per-view business in the process) with the $9.99 per month WWE Network.

You can download the XFL app from the App Store here. It’s free and will run on any device with iOS 11.0 or later.
