Ugreen’s new NASync DH2300 and DH4300 Plus network-attached storage devices aim squarely at everyday home users, the consumer electronics maker said Wednesday. In other words, those who want local storage as an alternative to iCloud, but without the complexity typically associated with NAS systems.
Starting at a low price of $209.99 $188.99, the two-bay DH 2300 device joins the more capable four-bay DH4300 Plus ($429.99 $364.99) in Ugreen’s effort to make personal cloud storage accessible to non-technical users. Both are on sale for launch, too.
Ugreen NASync DH2300 storage: Massive local storage capacity
As part of Ugreen’s NASync series, DH2300 supports up to 60TB of total storage across its two SATA bays (DH 4300 goes to 120TB). Each drive accommodates up to 30TB, Ugreen said. This capacity should prove ample for Mac and iPhone users looking to store extensive photo libraries, 4K video files, work documents and other media without relying on iCloud or other cloud services.
The device works with most standard NAS hard drives, allowing users to choose drives that fit their budget rather than being locked into proprietary storage options.
Setup designed for beginners

Ugreen said anyone can configure DH2300 in under 10 minutes. That addresses what the company identifies as the primary barrier for entry-level NAS adoption: setup anxiety. Though associated with business use, NAS doesn’t have to be overly complex. The device runs Ugreen’s UGOS Pro operating system. It uses plain-language prompts and visual guides to walk users through drive installation, network connection and initial configuration.
A dedicated mobile app consolidates all core functions. Those include file management, automatic photo backup from iPhones and media streaming to Apple TV or other displays. For iPhone users, NFC quick connection allows instant pairing between the phone and NAS with a simple tap. That eliminates the need to manually enter IP addresses or adjust router settings.
Privacy-focused security features
DH2300 employs multiple security layers, including TLS/SSL, RSA and AES encryption protocols for data transmission and storage. Two-factor authentication helps prevent unauthorized access. And the device’s local-first architecture means data never leaves your home network unless you explicitly enable remote access.
A File Vault feature creates a private space for sensitive documents that other users on the network cannot access. The device has earned certifications from TÜV and TRUSTe, validating its security and privacy standards.

DH2300 and DH4300 Plus include a 4K 60Hz HDMI port for direct connection to displays, useful for viewing photos and videos on a TV without AirPlay. They support multiple RAID configurations. That lets users prioritize either maximum storage capacity or data redundancy depending on their needs.
NASync DH2300 and DH4300 Plus are available now through Ugreen’s website and other retailers. You can find DH4300 on Amazon and DH2300 should be there soon, Ugreen said.
