Apple and Foxconn’s jumper problem might not be a thing of the past after all, as reports over the weekend broke that two workers have jumped from the roof of Foxconn’s Shenzhen factory on Friday in reaction to job cuts, lowered wages and the end of free amenities at the world’s largest gadget manufacturer.

And there goes the lemmings again.
Shame on CultofMac for the click bait headline. There is no evidence whatsoever that this incident has anything to do with iPhone 5.

They kill themselves if there’s too much work and they kill themselves if there’s not enough.
A bad, REALLY bad April Fool’s joke. Almost as bad as the idea of a Chinese Foxconn worker wearing wingtip shoes, pigeon nipping at his feet. That would be classified as a dress up dinner affair.
Much ado about nothing even if this story was true. Foxconn have over 700,000 employees. City of Columbus Ohio have a slightly higher population around 780,000. How many suicide do you think happen in Columbus, Ohio in one year’s time? You think Chinese people don’t have personal problems? There were probably more suicides in Columbus Ohio in the past month than Foxconn the past 3 months.
They have no shame especially about demo nixing Apple and hit whoring
This is either an April Fools in REALLY bad taste. Or it’s a real story (or rather a headline, missing a story with details) in which case the irreverent photo is in REALLY bad taste. Either way, shame on you. Suicide isn’t funny.
Shame on Brownlee and Cult editors, who are living up to the moniker the Angry Mac Bastards give them. These are personal trajedies, whether real as in the past, or invented for a cruel April fool idiocy. A huge difference between the pathos and irony in the theme from mash and this kind of link baiting exploration, You guys just don’t get it.
