Sprint has a $7 per month Total Equipment Protection Plan allows you to get your device replaced if you drop it on the hard ground, in the toilet, or accidentally blow it up with an explosive device. Seems like a good thing to sign yourself up for if you’re getting a Sprint iPhone, right?
Wrong, for two reasons. One: Sprint isn’t offering the Total Equipment Protection Plan for the iPhone 4S. Two? AppleCare + does the same thing, and at only $99, costs less overall than $7 a month over twenty four months.

AppleCare+ doesn’t do the same thing, unless it covers loss and theft like Sprint’s protection plan.
As much as I like AppleCare I don’t believe they cover your iPhone if you drop it on the ground or into the toilet.
AppleCare+ does cover that under accidental damage. There’s a $49 deductible. And you can only do it twice.
it doesn’t. Also how many replacements could you get under the Sprint plan, do they have a cost over the $7 etc. these are things that were not spelled out that could actually make Sprint the better deal if it was offered
twice at that price. but I’m sure Apple will be happy to take your $199 an incidental for numbers 3-whatever
Yes, but with Sprint, each time you replace a smartphone, it is a $100 deductible, in addition to the $7 a month. Makes it $368 for 2 years and 2 replacements with Sprint and only $198 for AppleCare+
If you do it 3 times, then Apple deserves the extra money. Just don’t be a klutz
