A “test model” iPad was stolen in a home robbery earlier this month along with other valuables. Suspects have been arrested, but the stolen goods have not been found.

“The robbers took the device, along with electronics, prescription drugs and cash valued at $7,500, from a Cupertino home during an incident in which a 20-year-old man was kidnapped and robbed after answering a woman’s online advertisement,” reports the San Jose Mercury News. The kidnapped man was driven less than a mile from his house before he was released by the assailants.

It’s currently unclear if the stolen iPad was a future model or old test device.

The last unreleased Apple device to get lost in the wild was the infamous iPhone 4 prototype that an Apple engineer left at a bar.

So were the stolen goods found or were they found, or were they?

“Suspects have been arrested, AND the stolen goods have been found.” Is this what you meant to write? Or is it “Suspects have been arrested, but the stolen goods have NOT been found.”? Which is it?

I don’t at all condone what they did, but doesn’t it feel like they should’ve gotten away with a lot more than $7500 an iPad and some drugs when robbing the home of an apple employee? A (presumably based on the ad) bachelor Apple employee.
