This week has been one of the most miraculous weeks we’ve seen in recent history. We’ve seen a 25 year-old country girl bend the will of a bunch of rich ass middle-aged white men in Silicon Valley. 150 after their defeat, in the Civil War, Confederacy loyalist are lowering the stars and bars. And you can finally marry anyone you want in any state you want in America, regardless if a bunch of religious people aren’t cool with it.
Celebrations have been ringing out across the country in light of the Supreme Court’s decision that same-sex marriage is right. Silicon Valley execs tweeted their approval of the decision this morning, including Apple CEO Tim Cook, who had the Pride Flag raised at Apple HQ in celebration.
Here’s a better look:

Tim Cook tweeted this morning that “today marks a victory for equality, perseverance and love.” Other top tech execs like Square CEO Jack Doresy, Sundar Pichai at Google, Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella, and T-Mobile’s John Legere tweeted praise for the ruling as well.
The Supreme Court’s ruling comes just in time for the Pride Festival weekend in San Francisco. Last year, Tim Cook joined Lisa Jackson and other Apple employees in the march through San Francisco. A video celebrating the occasion was also released shortly after.

fmac….. < Start working at home with Google! It’s by-far the best job I’ve had. Last Wednesday I got a brand new BMW since getting a check for $6474 this – 4 weeks past. I began this 8-months ago and immediately was bringing home at least $177 per hour. I work through this link, < wÂÂÂwÂÂÂw.ÂÂNÂeÂtÂcaÂshÂ9.ÂÂÂCÂÂÂoÂÂÂm
By the way, it’s not a bunch of religious people who aren’t cool with it, it is God himself who is not cool with it.
Your God.
As an atheist why should I follow your God’s rules?

God is fighting a losing battle.
Ooooooh, “God.” We’re all trembling in our boots
Be very careful, Zeus is keeping tabs on you! ;)
Religious or not, one has to realize that not every American holds that belief and should not be bound by it. Would you vote to bulldoze every temple for religions other than your own? Or vote to make your particular religion (don’t forget denomination, theological standard, etc) mandatory for every American?
Unless your god has been elected to public office somewhere in America, he, she, or it has nothing to do with our public policy.
What makes your god the right god? Are you absolutely sure you are believing in the right one? There are hundreds out there, by the way.
Yes, you are correct. Thör is extremely upset that your country has finally joined the rest of the civilized world in legalizing marriage equality rights for people of the same gender Oops you didn’t mean that god? Were you referring to Yahweh of the Old Testament who commands you to stone to death homosexuals? That god, who also not only condones slavery, but tells you who you can own as property, and where you can get your slaves from. Not indentured servants… slaves! That god? Are you sure you’re following your Bible correctly? All of it? Not just the things that you happen to cherry pick out and choose to abide by? Think about it next time you chow down at Red Lobster and disobey the commandment not to eat shellfish. Oh what’s that? You’ve never read your own Bible? The same Bible where the prophet Elisha asks god to maim and kill 42 male children for calling him bald, and your god complied by sending two bears to rip those kids up? Didn’t hear that in Sunday School? I wonder why? Read it for yourself… 2 Kings 2:23-25 That’s your loving god. Anyways, I digress.. Don’t like the OT so much? No problem… What would Jesus say or do? He would say to love everyone and judge not. So why do you good folks see fit to disobey the founder of your zany cult?
Thrilled that Apple shares my values and stands for equality worldwide. Gay rights are human rights, and there are many places around the world where LGBTI people can’t live openly let alone get married. Corporate advocacy is incredibly important.
fuck knows
There always was an “I”. Intersex people are deserving of recognition, even by those too lazy to casually google search to better inform themselves.

This looks more like a take on their logo from 1976 which was already a rainbow.
“rich ass middle-aged white men” So you’re a sexist and racist site now, CultofMac?
everyone knows that the corporate face Apple has been rich, middle-aged white men. That is just a fact, and saying so is not racist or sexist you dumbass.
Stating facts isn’t racist, acting like it’s a problem is.
And it’s not really possible for racism to occur towards the race in the the majority, power position. The system favors white, male values. For someone to be upset about that is not racist either. Until the predominant power structure is something other than white and male it’s an uphill battle to claim racism just because people say something semi-provocative about rich white males. Otherwise join the reverse racism self-pity party of Sean Hannity.
The entire premise of “you can’t be racist without power” relies on the assumption that minorities have no power. we’re not talking about slavery because that was banned 150 years ago, the only power a racist has over their victim; regardless of race, is hurt feelings, and absolutely anyone can hurt anyone else’s feelings.
That’s probably hands down one of the most ignorant things I’ve ever read in any debate about racism or discrimination. If you really believe that racism and discrimination are about hurt feelings you really need some remedial education.
TIL ignorance = disagreeing with you for completely logical reasons.
Seeing as you have absolutely no rebuttal against my argument, I’m going to move on with my life and forget that your kind of idiocy exists.
Maybe I’m racist since I hurt your feelings? Hahaha… No logical argument needed since Federal law exists to prevent people from being discriminated against based on race, gender, sexual orientation, etc. no law against hurting someone’s feelings. Try looking at the world beyond what your mommy and daddy and priest and politicians taught you.
When did you hurt my feelings? You think you’re intelligent for parroting things you hear that doesn’t even make sense, because you haven’t even critically examined them, and accuse ME of being ignorant. you don’t have a clue what you’re talking about, nor do you have the intelligence to even think about the topic at hand. there’s no point even continuing this conversation because you’re just too far gone.
It’s called a rhetorical question based on your concept that racism and discrimination is all about hurt feelings.
> Implying I read past the first sentence of your last post, or past the first 5 words of this one.
Your intelligence is simply overwhelming.
They should have just put out their old multicolour logo. Far more iconic, far closer to the LGBT rainbow. A much stronger image.
