iPad art lights up Sydney Opera House in Australia

A visual feast unfolded for Apple’s 50th birthday courtesy of iPad art in Sydney, Australia. Here’s Apple’s description:
The Sydney Opera House, one of the world’s best-known cultural landmarks, symbolizes the arts and community. Celebrating a new yearlong collaboration to champion the next generation of creativity, Illuminating Creativity transforms the Opera House’s eastern Bennelong sails into a canvas to showcase digital artwork from 11 emerging Australian artists and six members of the public. A mix of static imagery and motion, set to a score composed by musician Bailey Pickles using Logic Pro, the celebration represents the intersection of technology and the liberal arts.
The artworks were all created using Procreate — a powerful drawing and animation app developed in Tasmania, Australia, by Savage Interactive. A multiple Apple Design Awards winner, Procreate bridges Australian creative talent with an Australian-made creative tool, on one of the world’s most iconic canvases.
Now this is breathtaking! Amazing to see the sails of @SydOperaHouse lit up with Australian artists’ designs made with @Procreate on iPad. We’re proud to support the next generation of Aussie talent and continue to champion creativity. #Apple50 pic.twitter.com/COn0PGsQpa

Few artists in Chinese pop culture command the same breadth of influence as Chris Lee (aka Li Yuchun), Apple noted. A singer, songwriter and actor with more than 260 music awards to her name, Lee has spent two decades forging a sound that blends pop, electronic and alternative influences. And she’s always accompanied by ambitious visual projects and stage concepts that push the boundaries of what a live show can be.

Lee has long cited Apple’s iconic “Think Different” campaign as creative inspiration. That influence ripples through her pioneering musical expression. And that includes her dynamic presence on stage and the forward-looking aesthetic that makes her a touchstone across music, fashion and the arts. Apple Taikoo Li Chengdu welcomed Lee and fans for a celebration befitting her 20 years at the forefront of Chinese pop.

K-pop’s newest sensation surprises fans in Seoul

CORTIS made their debut only just last summer. But the K-pop group has already carved out a remarkable place in the cultural conversation. Their 2025 debut EP, Color Outside the Lines, laid out the group’s artistic mission clearly: redefine what artistry looks like and champion self-expression at every turn.
The group joined fans at Apple Myeongdong for a candid conversation about their journey as artists before surprising the crowd with a live performance of three songs, including “YOUNGCREATORCREW” from their forthcoming album. Early in their career, CORTIS appeared on The Zane Lowe Show on Apple Music Radio — an early moment that helped them build a devoted global fanbase. More recently, the group released an Apple Immersive music experience for Vision Pro. That gives fans an unparalleled look inside the rehearsal room as they work through the choreography for their track “GO!”

Just ridiculous! I love apple products but as America burns to the ground they are out there celebrating like it’s no big deal. And this is why people are dumb in 2026. Can’t use their own eyes and learn history to see they’re living in terrible times and one that shows you lost your country.
First of all, as the headline literally says, four out of the five events (so far) were in South Korea, Australia, China and the United Kingdom, not the United States.
Second… because the US is in turmoil, no one should celebrate anything? Cancel all PR events indefinitely? No parties? What a bizarre take.
