Here’s a great submission from Southern Mexico:
“We did a contextual study for a project in a remote community in Southern Mexico, in Oaxaca, in the small town of Santos Reyes Yucuná. We wanted to observe the use of technology with its inhabitants. We used an Apple iPad and even as they don’t know how to read or write, they loved the iPad! So the project is developing around touch technology.
We hope you like them as much as we did.”

The first photo is the best! And the little girl looks both very cute and tiny next to her huge iMac.
The pic’s from Mexico are the best. those are happy very happy faces. They may not know how to read or right but their kids will be better off having this technology around them as they grow up.

UNICEF estimates adult literacy in Mexico to be 93% and Mexico was recently bestowed the 2011 Literacy Award by UNESCO.
Ok, it’s great to be able to be featured on cultofmac.com by only posing by a apple related retail packaging box… But wouldn’t it be more news worthy to post creative desk setups?
