An alleged price list for Apple’s upcoming iPhone 7 series suggests there will be a high-end “Pro” model after all. Fans could also get 256GB storage options, while 32GB of storage could become the minimum.

Plenty of rumors have suggested that Apple is planning an iPhone 7 Pro for 2016, which will give fans even greater internals at an even bigger price. The device was expected to carry more RAM, and a better camera for greater photos.

Rumors surrounding that Pro model have died down in recent weeks, and we’ve heard whispers that all iPhone 7 Plus handsets will get Apple’s dual-lens camera upgrade. But has Apple really ditched the idea?

According to an iPhone 7 price list posted on Chinese micro-blogging network Weibo, there will be an iPhone 7 Pro in Apple’s lineup this fall. And it won’t be cheap. Here’s what each device is expected to cost:

Converted at today’s exchange rate, the base model iPhone 7 will cost approximately $805 in U.S. dollars, while the base model iPhone 7 Plus will cost approximately $927. If you want the iPhone 7 Pro, you’ll be paying at least $1,079, and as much as $1,353.

However, it’s important to note that these prices include the 20 percent import tax Apple applies to devices sold in Asia. Take that away and you can expect the iPhone 7 series to range between $640 and $1,100.

I’ve said it before many times, but I’ll say it again: Apple will streamline their naming scheme by using the following nomenclature:

    iPad – iPad Pro
    iPhone – iPhone Pro
    MacBook – MacBook Pro
    Mac – Mac Pro

Who really cares what they call it, but a iPhone going for the same price as a MBP 15″ isn’t economical on anyone budget except if you work at Apple.

      upgrade plan….

I don’t think anyone has ever bought an iPhone because they are economical. Or any other Apple product, for that matter. If affordable hardware is what you are after, then there are plenty of respectable options out there. Apple doesn’t have any pressure to cater to that market, however.

These are unsubsidized prices bud. Once they hit the market as long as you are upgrade eligible you’ll pay the usual $299,$399,$499 prices.

Not upgrading for first time ever. Keeping my jailbreak and headphone jack. Will revisit iPhone 7SE Plus Pro.
