One of the neat new features of iOS 7 is that the background moves ever so slightly when you tilt your iPhone up and down. The effect makes it look like your pictures are nearly 3D, but if you want to really be impressed, set your iPhone homescreen picture as a panorama and spin around.
Jeff Shin discovered that if you take a panoramic photo and set it as your background, the image will move with you as you spin around. Here’s a video of the hidden feature:

Hmm. I couldn’t get it to go all the way around for me. Odd.
Neither can I.
I tried it on my iPhone 5 – brilliant!
Doesn’t work for me either. Maybe an instructional video is in order!
Really looking forward to iOS 7 can’t wait to try it out in the fall. :)
That’s snazzy!! Wonder what other little Easter eggs are in there.
Couldn’t make it work, either.
What is your phone? iPhone 5 or older? it might only work on the iPhone 5?? Just guessing..
To get panoramic background working you have to go to Settings> Brightness & Wallpaper> Change Background and scroll down until you find the album Panoramic. You can also save a panoramic photo from web or dropbox, etc and it will automatically go into the Panoramic album.
Why wouldn’t they show that during the keynote? Wow!
This. ^^^ Although, have you figured out the perfect size yet? I can’t seem to figure it out. Some end up with black bars if they aren’t enough pixels tall enough.
Check some iphone 5 panoramic wallpaper and submit your own at http://www.iphonepanoramawallpaper.com!
