You can spend hours on cable management when trying to create the perfect home cinema setup, but you don’t need to. Why hide the wires away when you can make them look as good as they do in the sweet setup above?
All you need is a tube of superglue, steady hands, and patience.
This setup boasts an Xbox One, a PlayStation 4, a Steam Link, and a PlayStation VR box. That’s a lot of wires, but instead of trying to hide them away, JustTSK on Reddit made them part of the decor using little more than superglue.
The consoles are fixed to the wall using special mounts (the PS VR box is just fixed with double-sided tape), and there are LED light strips behind them that make the whole setup even cooler. The neat arrangement of the cables was intended to make the wall look like a circuit board.
“I’m web engineer and also have a hobby of electronics, designed few PCBs for my small projects at home. Was inspired by PCB traces, and also I’m a big fan of Tron movie, so that was my inspiration too,” explains JustTSK.
“The only thing it would change is main power line, to hide it completely in the wall maybe, but other then that, I’m pretty happy with it.”
He used hot glue to hold the cables in place initially, but once it cooled, it wasn’t strong enough so superglue was called into action. It’s still holding up two months after it was installed, and the only thing that’s changed is the shelf beneath the TV.
I don’t think I’ve seen exposed cables that look so good. If you’ve done better, let us know down in the comments.

Sorry, no it doesn’t look cool, except, perhaps when there’s nothing on screen. I would find it hopelessly distracting otherwise.

How about using in wall cabling and a proper jacks to you remove them from being seen? That’s what most home theater installers tend to do.

Wow, the negative comments are stupid. Its not that he COULDNT FIGURE OUT HOW TO HIDE THE WIRES…lol. He just wanted to do something different. And in his opinion, he likes it. Its not distracting at all…I promise when watching a movie or playing a game he at no point is like: “Dang…I can’t focus because the wall isn’t completely blank!” MOST people have things in front of them when watching the screen. Speakers, artwork on the wall, LED lighting, etc. Its fine. Its a different way of doing things, and that is okay.
