There’s no reason your USB-C charger has to be dull. Rather than being the usual white or black box, GravaStar’s Alpha65 looks like a miniature robot. But it really is a 65W charger with multiple USB ports.
And the company’s Supernova is both a Bluetooth speaker and a portable lantern even though it looks like a mini mecha.

The Alpha65 is shaped like a robot reminiscent of classic sci-fi films. With its collapsible legs, it stands up for display and sits down for charging. Ice blue eyes light up when power is flowing.
The charger features a pair of USB-C ports and one USB-A port, with retractable power prongs on its bottom edge. It was made with GaN to minimize its size.

Another unique new item from GravaStar is the Supernova Bluetooth speaker that is shaped like a robot so it looks interesting even when not in use. It does double duty as a lantern.
The speaker is capable of putting out 90db, and Supernova’s promises deep bass, clear mids and crisp highs from a 3-inch full-range speaker and 0.5-inch high-frequency tweeter.
Supernova offers three different light modes: vivid dynamic mode, single light mode (with eight different colors available) and camping light mode, intended to mimic the flickering of a campfire.
The device can last for up to seven hours on a charge. Much of the body is metallic, and there’s a handle for when using the device as a lantern.
GravaStar’s Supernova Bluetooth speaker comes in black or white. It launched Tuesday at $179.99.
