Google Chrome is the best third-party browser for iOS, and it just received a healthy update that features a number of new improvements that makes it even more of a crime that Apple won’t let any other browser but Safari act as default browser under iOS.
The biggest addition in version 26.0.1410.50 is that iPhone and iPod touch users now have the option to go full screen, allowing you to see more of the webpage at once.
A new scroll option is also handy. Here’s how it works: instead of having to scroll all the way to the top of a page to access the Omnibox, you can now just scroll down then immediately back up again by just a little amount to access the address bar. Thing of it as a little twitch: that’s all there is to do.
Another new feature is the ability to print web pages with Google Cloud Print or AirPrint, or save any page to PDF using Google Drive.

You don’t have to scroll all the way to the top of the page in Safari or any browser/app. Just tap once on the clock on the status bar and it takes you to the top of the app/page instantly. That’s been in iOS for a while.
“…a crime that Apple won’t let any other browser but Safari act as default browser under iOS,” is one of my number one reasons to jailbreak. A quick tweak defaults chrome as my browser, And google maps as my navigator.
