Get to know Bad Bunny before the Super Bowl

This week Apple plans a comprehensive celebration of Bad Bunny. He’s an artist who has fundamentally reshaped global pop music on his own terms, the iPhone giant said. The partnership between Apple and Bad Bunny stretches back nearly a decade, making this halftime performance particularly meaningful for both parties. Apple Music editors first discovered his work and reached out directly to bring it to the platform, and now they’re watching him take one of the biggest stages in entertainment, Apple noted.

“This is a special full-circle moment for us,” said Rachel Newman, Apple Music’s co-head. “Bad Bunny’s an artist that we’ve championed from the very beginning, when our editors discovered his work and contacted him directly about bringing it to Apple Music.”

“To have him as a headliner of the Apple Music Super Bowl LX Halftime Show feels like the culmination of a deep, long-term partnership that spans most of the last decade, at a time period in which he’s forever changed global pop music,” she added.”
