The third public beta of Apple’s upcoming operating system, OS X 10.11 El Capitan, was seeded to public testers today, one week after the release of El Capitan beta 2.
The new operating system which was announced at WWDC, was first made available to public testers at the beginning of the month, after developers have been testing it since it was revealed at WWDC in June. The release notes for El Capitan public beta 3 don’t mention any major new features, but likely includes a number of bug fixes and performance improvements.
Public beta testers can register to install the new OS X 10.11 software on their machines by visiting Apple’s Beta Software Program website. Once registered, El Capitan can be installed on your main Mac, though we recommend you create a separate partition to try it on, rather than opening your entire hard drive to the bugs and glitches that Apple is working to fix.

This comment isn’t about Apple it’s to whomever design this revamped site look… really? Kinda amateurish.
I think it looks really good
I just updated to the public beta. It only takes about 10 minutes. So far its working ok but I keep on getting an annoying java update notification . I do like some of the new mail features
It’s a amateurish design! Big blocks of color, the logo looks lost. I’ve seen better design from a 6 YO. Sorry to be so “Internet Bullying” but it’s a crappy redesign.
WARNING: Do not update to the OS X 10.11 Beta 3 if you are using Adobe After Effects or Premiere. After Effects will not open at all and Premiere crashes after a few actions. Everything was working great for me in Beta 2
Just checked my MacBook for an update and there’s nothing. Is there a delay in availability dictate by region? I’m from the UK…
I don’t think there’s a delay. Updated last night without problems. From London airport.
