When Apple sends out invitations for their media events, they often include little hints as to what people can expect to be announced. The iPhone 5 event nvitation had the shadow of a gigantic five emerging from underneath the date, and the iPad 3 invitation showed off the clarity of the tablet’s still-unannounced Retina display.
In comparison, today’s invite for the October 23rd event doesn’t seem to have many clues as to what Apple is announcing. The design of the invitation doesn’t seem to mean much. However, the writers of Apple’s invitation have tipped their hat a little bit in the wording of the invitation: “We’ve got a little more to show you.”
What does it mean? Well, everything Apple is expected to announce next week is either a smaller version of an existing product (thinner iMacs, a 13-inch Retina MacBook Pro tear) or ‘mini’ (the iPad mini, a new Mac mini). It’s not a lot to go on, but it’s definitely a purposeful choice and a nod to the products we’ll see next week.

Well, upper right, looks like a Brazil flag.
Siri in Portuguese, perhaps…
It also has vibrant colors, maybe indicating color options coming to a product line or product line extension (iPad mini)… yeah yeah, I doubt it too, but it’s fun to make wild speculations.
We’ve got a little more to show you – 8 letters – iPad Mini – 8 letters. Retina – 6 letters – 6 color bands on invitation…who am I kidding, I am just making this up for the likes.
The way I got it was that the iPad mini is the ‘little’ and the ‘more’ indicates there will be more products announced during the event and not only the iPad Mini. Link to my post: http://www.alwarakiblog.com/2012/10/apple-send-out-invitations-for-october.html
Peace :)
It looks like cmyk and rgb to me. Hello apple tv
MacStories.com pointed out that the colors and design are very similar to the invites for the original iPad event.

The “little” indicates the iPad Mini
The Apple logo represents the Mac itself – a new iMac.
there are 7 colors in the picture- red, orange, pink, blue, light blue, yellow, and green
Good call. You could even say that this one is more ‘focused’ and streamlined.
what do you mean by cmyk and rgb??
There are seven levels getting to the core Apple. Isn’t the iPad mini supposed to be 7-inches?
Does no one else see the half guitar on its side with the yellow emanating out of it? We are supposed to get new itunes this month!
Given the rainbow it’s kind of obvious isn’t it? This is the LGBT iPad.
What? LOL do you know what that even means. CMYK? There’s no black in the colors. There’s no Cyan, either.
wonder what the new mac mini will look like. Im using one right now.
It’s little.
There is more of ’em.
Much more littles… Little iMac slices, the old-fashioned colored kind. Delicious. I wonder if there will be a multi-colored model? That would be cool.
Its 8 inches
Signifies that the iPad mini will have a retina display. The Apple logo is rather large, as if it is zoomed in, and no blur or pixelation on the actual “White Apple” part. Just my $.02.
With the Soviet Union now in the dustbin of history, I suppose parsing Apple’s event invites has replaced the practice of divining Soviet trends by analyzing who appears on the Kremlin balcony to watch the annual May Day parade and in what order they are standing.
Means multi-colored iPad Airs
When I first saw the tag line, my thoughts were that the iPad is bigger, a “more”, version of iOS in comparison to the iPhone and iPod. Now we get the chance to see a smaller “more”, because Apple wants to show us a “little more”.
that is true, the new itunes is supposed to come out… so thats the “more” in the the tag line.
It’s focused on the Leaf itll be called the iPad Leaf.
6 color bands…6 color bands…I never said 6 colors total ;)
I have this feeling that the Mac mini might be Apple TV or Airport Express sized.
It would be retarded, for RAM and Repairability, oh wait…
If not this year, it might happen eventually.
The colors are “shrinking effects” of the Apple logo.

Another clue: as you can see, on each side there’re 4 colors with 1 white blank, which means: a device would be 4/5 size of an existing product, that is iPad mini.
I can see Jesus’ face on the top right area.
I’m sure Apple is hinting that 23 October is also the date of the 2nd coming of Christ.
i’m very sure.
I think what it means is.: “We´ve a little more to show you” is meant ironic, meaning the exact opposite, because so many products are coming. And also it indicates the scaled down products.
Also I think the colours indicates the variety of products, like a rainbows colours. The top of the apple means it´s Apple that will announce them ;)
I think the top of the Apple logo is bum shaped. I think Phil is going to bare his arse to the audience, and thus show us a little more of himself.
My guesses would be the iMac refresh, the 13 inch MacBook with Retnia Display,iTunes update, and the iPod mini with the back casing coming in colors like the 5th gen IPod Touch.
Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, blacK
Red, Green, Blue
Whatever it is, I hope it means we can stand in line for 5 days to buy it.
Notice that there is a big “m” made by the Apple logo? Indicates that the iPad “m”ini is here and the name is confirmed! And it might come in various different colors!
