Crystal Baller: iPhone 7’s astonishing camera and other tantalizing Apple rumors

By

The Rumor: Arch-rival Samsung will remain Apple's top chip supplier.
The Verdict: Most likely. Apple's been trying to reduce its dependency on Samsung components and manufacturing for years, but the problem is there's just not another company that can compete with Samsung's chipmaking biz. TSMC tried but they're still not able to handle as much of the load as Apple would like, so Apple's stuck with Samsung, for better or worse.

There is one feature on newer Qualcomm that I will admit is a useful feature and that’s the quick charge feature. Apple should license this technology from Qualcomm and integrate it within iPhones. Also any power saving feature to extend the live of a phone/tablet would be great too. I would love inductive charging since I just bought a Mobee Magic feet and it has enough room to charge an iPhone and mouse and keyboard. It’s a slick “MUST HAVE” device for ALL Mac desktop users.

The “S” denotes a camera upgrade? Last I checked, they always make some improvements to the lens, in fact every year they use a new processor too.

There’s no doubt Apple will have a 4K camera next year. They have a 5K iMac. They just need 4K movies and a 4K iPhone which they’re already behind on catching up.

This is completely irresponsible for Cult of Mac to publish this tripe. These types of rumors only serve to diminish iPhone sales just before the holiday buying season. How can anyone who professes to admire the Apple corporation keep running articles that serve no purpose other than encouraging people to delay their iPhone purchases until “the ultimate” iPhone arrives?
