It’s not clear who received the greater slight in this case. A resident in Wilmette, IL recently reported the theft of an Apple iPod which had been left in the cupholder inside an unlocked vehicle. There were also two tickets to an upcoming Chicago Cubs game inside, and the glove compartment and trunk were reported searched.
The iPod was taken. The Cubs tickets were not taken. Looks like Cubs fans aren’t happy, the team is currently 10.5 games back in the NL Central. Are things really that bad?

Well, using the tickets might get him caught wouldn’t it?
When has it been good for the Cubs? A sub par season doesn’t prevent fans from filling Wrigley.
Not if he scalped them.
If it had been a Zune in the car, that low-life, prick thief would definitely have taken the Cubs tickets.
I’m 100% Apple Fanboy, but I have to defend the one Microsoft device that has never given me an problems. For what it is, a media player, it’s awesome. As for games/internet browsing/apps, it’s garbage, but it was never intended to be used for that.
I still own a 120gb and a Zune HD, that I carry in my backpack right with my iPod Touch.
You’d never know it by the goons and the douches that swarm my neighborhood every day in the summer time (I’m a stone’s through from Wrigley).
I know why: if the person had taken the tickets, the lady who was stolen from could simply go to that same Cubs game, then find her original seats. Thief FOUND!
I’m assuming he would sell the tickets and the iPod. Most likely cares more about getting his next fix. #crackrock
Good point.
You carry THREE PMPs in your backpack?
