Apple seems focused on marking its mark in Europe recently, what with the launch of its online store in the Czech Republic, Hungary, and Poland; and the introduction of its iTunes movie store to new even more countries EU countries this week. However, its plans across the Atlantic don’t stop there: the company is also launching its Apple TV in another seven countries from Tuesday.

MacRumors has “received word” that Apple is informing its resellers in seven new European countries that the Apple TV will be making its debut next Tuesday, October 4 — the same day the company will unveil its next iPhone.

Those countries that make it on to Apple’s list include Belgium, Denmark, Finland, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Norway, and Sweden. Apple’s memo reads:

All-new Apple TV Now Available for Order in Seven New Countries

We are delighted to announce the all-new Apple TV, with an enhanced user interface and a breakthrough price point, is now available to order in Belgium, Luxembourg, The Netherlands, Sweden, Denmark, Norway and Finland.

The device will sell for €119 (approx. $160), including VAT, in Finland, which will line up with its existing pricing in other EU countries. In Norway, the device is expected to cost kr 849. Accompanying the device will AppleCare for an additional €29.

Are you looking forward to the Apple TV where you are?

Netherlands here. I have an Apple TV for months now (and most of my friends have one too), you can buy them of Amazon UK and get them delivered or just drive across the border and buy one one in Germany. I get Gift cards for the US or UK stores for movie rentals whenever I travel. Nice to see it officially arriving in the NL though, its about time.

They also lowered the UK price for resellers by £2… Sorry, that was such an uninteresting fact :(

Now bring on the TV shows too please!
Observer that it’ll only work if they have the same release dates as in the US or possible the UK, yea, that’ll screw the TV providers unless they can start getting TV shows without waiting six months but who cares :p

I really hope this means we’re getting movies and tv shows in those countries too, why would we need a tv-box otherwise? Converting every avi-file I’ve downloaded (sue me) would be a pain in the ass…
