Apple expanded its retail presence to Saudi Arabia with the launch of the Apple Store online and Apple Store app, marking the first time the company has offered direct support in Arabic, the iPhone giant said Tuesday. The move is a significant milestone for Apple users in the Kingdom, who can now access the full range of Apple products and services with localized support from Apple’s team.

“We are thrilled to bring the Apple Store online and the Apple Store app to Saudi Arabia, offering customers a new way to explore and shop Apple’s extraordinary lineup of products and services,” said Deirdre O’Brien, Apple’s senior vice president of Retail and People. “Our customers in Saudi Arabia are passionate about the things they can do with technology, and our teams can’t wait to connect with customers and help them discover how Apple innovations can meaningfully enrich their daily lives.”

The launch brings Apple’s retail experience directly to Saudi customers, complete with personalized recommendations and seamless shopping features. Through the Apple Store app, users receive product suggestions based on their existing Apple devices, making it easier to discover complementary products and accessories that enhance their Apple ecosystem, Apple said.

Customization options expand with Arabic support

One of the most notable features of the Saudi launch is the introduction of free Arabic engraving services alongside English options. Apple users can now personalize their AirPods, Apple Pencil, AirTag and other compatible devices with Arabic text, emoji and numbers — a first for the region.

The online store also offers extensive customization options for Mac users. They can configure processor, memory and storage specifications to meet their specific needs. Apple Watch customers can mix and match cases and bands to create unique combinations that reflect their personal style.

Enhanced shopping and support services

Apple also introduces several services designed to make the shopping experience more accessible for Saudi customers. The company offers personalized shopping support through chat and phone. That should help users find the right products for their needs. After purchase, customers can access Personal Setup assistance, iOS migration support and cellular activation help.

To address affordability concerns, Apple has partnered with Tamara to offer a “Buy Now Pay Later” program. It allows customers to spread payments across four months with 0% interest. This makes premium Apple products more accessible to a broader range of customers.

The Apple Trade In program is also available in Saudi Arabia. It enables customers to receive credit toward new purchases by trading in their current devices. Devices that don’t qualify for trade-in credit can still be recycled for free through Apple’s environmental program.

Physical stores coming in 2026

While the online launch is immediate, Apple recently announced plans to open its first physical retail locations in Saudi Arabia beginning in 2026. The company said it’s particularly excited about an iconic store planned for Diriyah, a UNESCO World Heritage site. It will blend Apple’s modern retail design with the area’s historical significance, the iPhone giant said.

This retail expansion builds on Apple’s existing presence in Saudi Arabia. That includes the region’s first Apple Developer Academy that opened in Riyadh in 2021, developed in partnership with the Saudi government and local educational institutions.

Saudi Apple users can now visit apple.com/sa-en/store to explore the full range of products and services available in their region.
