  • Address an issue that may cause the system to become unresponsive when playing a video in Safari
  • Resolve an issue that may cause system audio to stop working when using HDMI or optical audio out
  • Improve the reliability of Wi-Fi connections
  • Resolve an issue that prevents transfer of your data, settings, and compatible applications to a new Mac running OS X Lion

For detailed information on this update, please visit this website: https://support.apple.com/kb/HT4764.”

Apple has also been seeding a beta of OS X 10.7.2 to developers for testing purposes with iCloud.

No mention of nVidia related kernel panics on 2010 MacBook Pros? This is a huge issue for me. Daily crashes.

I don’t mind doing an update but I’m confused as to why this isn’t available via the Mac App Store.

Yeah, we had a lot of crashes on it at my place. The designers were all in a tizzy!

This update resolved the sleep issue on my new Macbook Pro. Now goes to sleep as expected with the power cord plugged in.

Has there ever been an OS X update that didn’t claim to fix flaky wi-fi?

It also fixes the problem (I don’t know if it happened to you, but it often happened to me and was  quite annoying) that when you play music in iTunes, audio from any other source gets automatically blocked out, whether it be QuickTime, Flash, HTML5 videos, or mere system sound effects, and the only solution was a restart.

I have a PANASONIC HPX170P that can longer be seen using MAC OS X (LION) 10.7.1.  What can I do to get this to work?
