Certainly a sad day. I told my iMac, MacBook and iPhone but they stayed silent. Says a lot, eh?
Second Steve should join Apple!
We feel your pain Woz. I will always remember where I was when I heard as well.
The first I knew of Steve’s passing, was when I went to visit the Apple site, to check iPhone 4s pricing, and I saw the Jobs picture. At first, I thought it was to signify that the autobiography was released, and then I saw the dates.
I instantly went into that cold shiver that happens at these moments, and just sat there, starring at the Jobs picture, stunned.
Even when you know the worst is imminent, when it eventually comes, it doesn’t make it anymore unshocking.
Woz is a class act; always has been. I can only imagine the pain he’s feeling if we (the common folks who never met SJobs) are feeling this bad.
What an amazing man….no one will every fill his shoes….ever. take a look at this tribute post. http://tinyurl.com/5w7c4vs
Yesterday he stepped into the list of great names such as Newton and Einstein.
From today on he will be missed as the greatest visionary the world has ever known.
He will be remembered for bringing technology to the people and forever changing how we use it.
R.I.P mr. Jobs and may your spirit forever drive your company into the future.
We’ll miss you Steve.
Big hugs to Woz. <3
Woz , we love you …
