The banana-shaped iPhone case in the new Andy Warhol x Casetify collection is the most bizarre Apple accessory we’ve seen in a while. It’s gigantic, fragile and expensive. And it even comes with three stickers that look like what you’d see on an actual banana at the grocery store.
It’s only one of the many Apple accessories in the eye-catching new collection, produced by Casetify under license from The Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts.
Andy Warhol x Casetify Banana iPhone case
The late Andy Warhol made a dent in the pop art universe by turning everyday objects into memorable images. He turned Campbell’s soup cans into iconic art. And this new Banana iPhone case looks like Warhol’s depiction of the bright yellow fruit that adorned the cover of 1967 album The Velvet Underground & Nico.
Now, the Andy Warhol x Casetify applies the artist’s iconic images, which questioned the very nature of consumerism, to the world’s most popular and commodified device: the iPhone.
“Warhol transformed consumer products into art, and now Casetify is transforming protective tech into artistic expression,” the case maker said in a press release Tuesday. “Both brands share a vision of making art accessible and celebrating the beauty in everyday objects. The collection invites one to transform everyday tech into iconic pieces of art, featuring designs inspired by Warhol’s most celebrated works — the Banana, Campbell’s Soup Can, and Brillo Box. This collection turns your devices into portable galleries, reimagining tech accessories as iconic masterpieces.”

The Casetify site doesn’t appear to list the Banana iPhone case’s dimensions. But you can see from the images that it extends several inches beyond the iPhone’s top and bottom.
Casetify does note, however, that the Banana iPhone case isn’t a heavy-duty case. “This phone case is recommended for ornamental and normal use only and should not be subject to harsh impact, scrapes, or other vigorous activities,” the website says. “Please take extra care when using it to prevent scratches or discoloring.”
It’s designed for art, not protection. As such, Casetify says the Banana iPhone case is “not covered by no questions asked return or exchange policy and product warranty.” The case lists for $106.
Got an iPhone? There’s a Campbell’s Tomato Soup can case for that.

The Andy Warhol x Casetify collection includes riffs on those three classic slices of pop art. The Banana doesn’t just show up in the expensive and oddly shaped iPhone case. It also appears on more traditional case styles and other accessories.
The Brillo Box and Campbell’s Soup Can get remixed extensively, too. They pop up on Apple Watch bands, cases for iPhones, iPads, MacBooks and AirPods, and other expensive wonders. If you’re an absolute Warhol nut, you can snatch it all up in the Andy Warhol Collector Edition Special Set. This online exclusive is on sale for $672.
