OK, so imagine you’re in one of those Android marketing meetings. Big Boss needs ideas for the new advertising campaign.

“Apple’s just so far ahead,” says Big Boss. “We need something radical to pull in customers.”

Radical, huh? you say.

“Yeah. We need color, action. Bad language. We need everything you never see in an Apple advert. And none of that plinky-plonky background music.”

You think for a minute.

OK boss, you say. How about something like… this?

  2. bertuccia says:

    terrible. i’m like this ?_?

  3. Ben Oxtoby says:

LOL. Bit hit and miss! That womans voice is far too babyish when she talks normally, and she names the weapon in her hands wrong, big time. Any gamer will pick up on that one!

  4. Les Surdykowski says:

Wow, they’re really going after the ultra-geek demographic. I hear they’re really big spenders.

  5. BMWTwisty says:

Profoundly insipid. Did Ballmer have something to did with this piece of crap?

  6. Miguel Ângelo Costa says:

    This is annoyingly ridiculous.

  7. Chip says:

Wow, that really makes me want to run right out and buy one.

    And that isn’t an AK-47.

  8. gareth edwards says:

hahahahaha, ok the ad made me smile, it’s not a great ad but it’s supposed to be flakey nes pa?

BUT Kristen Schaal just rocks. Is it wrong to say that she’s hot? Mmmmmm Schaaly

  9. Ryan says:

Was I the only one who felt as though a chipmunk was attempting to sell me a cell phone?

  10. Jaimex99 says:

Come on, people. This is meant to be funny, and it made me smile. Obviously, people who want in iPhone will not like this phone, but surprisingly for many culters, there are some other people on Earth who do not like the iPhone and want options. If I didn’t like my iPhone so much, I would consider this phone. Perhaps not based on this ad, but at least the ad made me smile.

Actually, Android handsets have a larger market presence than iOS…Apple is not way ahead, they just seem like it because their commercials are ubiquitous and catchy.

Whereas this commercial may not be the greatest, um…it introduces a phone with an actual tactile controller on it. As a long-time iPhone, and now Android user, I have to say I do not agree with Jobs that a virtual D-pad and button set are better than the real thing.

  12. Joshua says:

Really? Are you all that much of a blind Apple/iOS fanboy to not appreciate that ad? That was awesome…

  13. Amazed says:

Actually, if you look at worldwide sales, Android is nowhere near iOS.

  14. Manuel Viramontes says:

I LOVE Apple but unfortunately they are no longer ahead of Android handsets like they used to be within the last several quarters. Hopefully that will change with the introduction of the iphone 5!!

  15. Tyler Hojberg says:

I love this actress! She always manages to land small, hilarious parts. I’m an Apple fanboy at heart, but you can’t help to comment on the amazing directing and hilarious portrayal of an Android user. Looks like there’s some mad chedda being thrown around here.

  16. Bill Coleman says:

This would be WAY more impressive if she were actually firing that machine/shotgun.

  17. Keith Hamilton says:

you should check your facts on that statement.
