Apple sweetens its gift cards with free Arcade time
An Apple Gift Card is a great gifting option for your loved ones this Christmas and New Year. Apple is making them an even better option by bundling three months of free Apple Arcade subscription. Returning users will get two months of free access.
The company typically offers a free month of subscription to its gaming service. Post the trial, the service costs $6.99 per month.
What makes the deal even better is that there’s no minimum threshold for the gift card. Pick up the smallest $10 card, and you still end up saving $31.
The offer runs through January 5, 2026. It also requires users to redeem the extended Apple Arcade trial by January 13, 2026. It’s limited to customers in the US. You must buy the gift card from Apple’s online or retail stores. When you redeem the gift card, Apple will automatically send the redemption code for the Apple Arcade.
Best Buy’s bundle blows Apple’s deal away
Best Buy is running an even better promotion, bundling free access to multiple Apple services. This includes:

Unlike Apple, Best Buy requires you to buy a minimum $15 gift card. Still, you’ll end up saving considerably more if you don’t already start paying for Apple One by then.
