The new Meet with Apple Experts program helps Apple developers easily find and join workshops, labs and one-on-one consultations to help them build great apps, Apple said Tuesday.

The new dedicated resource builds on other programs for developers, incorporating their programming.

Meet with Apple Experts gives Apple developers access to sessions, workshops, consultations and more

Apple said it intends Meet with Apple Experts to help software developers easily find more than 50 online and in-person sessions. Those include workshops and consultations to help with app development.

The dedicated resource provides direction tailored to a developer’s time zone and language.

Developers can sign up for sessions on various topics that dive into operating systems like iOS 17, iPadOS 17, watchOS 10 and visionOS. And they teach how to optimize apps and games to recent hardware releases.

Some sessions help “developers maximize their app and game experiences on the App Store through customizing product pages, enhancing app discovery, making the most of in-app events, and improving customer acquisition through features like App Analytics,” Apple said.

Builds on other programs

Meet with Apple Experts builds on existing programs that help developers. Examples include Ask Apple, Meet with App Store Experts and the Tech Talks informational series, which offer presentations and consultations.

Apple further describes its offerings for developers this way:

Apple provides a wide variety of cutting-edge tools and end-to-end support for developers to build, test, market, and distribute their apps to more than 2 billion Apple devices. An extensive suite of free tools and frameworks — including software development kits (SDKs) and developer services with more than 250,000 APIs — support developers building apps for iOS, iPadOS, macOS, tvOS, watchOS, and visionOS.

These tools enable developers to add new functionalities to their apps easily and quickly, and harness powerful capabilities like machine learning, AR, and more. Programs such as Apple’s Developer Academies, Entrepreneur Camps, App Accelerators, and the Swift Student Challenge, as well as open-access tools like Everyone Can Code and Swift Playgrounds, ensure coding technology is accessible and inclusive.
