If you’re an avid gamer or you’re shopping for one, you could do worse than to check out today’s featured Mac Studio and Studio Display setup.

Mac Studio setups packs multiple game systems, keyboard, mice and headphones
Redditor BornforOne showcased the absolutely dope setup — several commenters described it that way — in a post entitled, “Home office.” It’s a modest title for such a badass rig.
Born uses a Mac Studio in a matte wrap to drive a Studio Display on a Jarvis standing desk with an Ikea top. A rarely seen white Opal C1 4K Webcam — exclusive to Mac — sits on the monitor.
But it’s the peripherals that catch the eye, in part because there are so many of them. He’s got four mice, four keyboards and a custom number pad, at least three sets of outstanding headphones, a killer Klipsch audio system with Schiit audio components and six gaming systems.

Here are Born’s notes on his gear, which is like a gamer’s dream shopping list:
Desk: IKEA Karlby (8ft) mounted on Jarvis Frame with Uplift Desk casters. Grovemade matte black desk shelf.

“That white wrap in the Mac Studio is pretty dope, and that Schiit kit must be heaven,” a commenter said. “I fantasize about getting a really top-rated audio kit at times and this just added to my dilemma, ha ha.”
“It’s a lot of fun,” Born replied. “The music experience is completely different.”
He runs a Schiit Modius digital-to-anaolog converter (DAC) with stellar Klipsch bookshelf speakers and subwoofer.

He also uses Schiit Lyr+ and Magnius headphone amps/preamps for his AirPods Max, Sennheiser HD800S and Meze Empyrean headphones.
That’s a few thousand bucks’ worth of headphones, people. And that’s just those three. There are two others Born didn’t identify. You can see them hanging on hooks in the corner to the right of the desk.
“I counted 5 pairs of headphones (but probably one more is hidden in the drawer 😂), tell me why you need so much” asked a commenter. “Especially that it looks like you just have one model in two colors (black and white).”
“I actually had more headphones but sold them to downsize,” Born replied. “The ones on the pegboard are for the consoles. The white is for the PS5, the black is for the Xbox.”
