Harrison Ford built is reputation with Star Wars and Raiders of the Lost Ark. He’s a movie star. So it’s kind of big deal that he’s doing a show on Apple TV+. But Apple’s streaming service has pulled in many other stars, like Ryan Reynolds, Jennifer Anniston and Chris Evans.

But the primary star of Shrinking is Jason Segel (Forgetting Sarah Marshall, Sex Tape) as a grieving therapist who ignores his training and ethics by telling his clients exactly what he thinks. The result is huge, tumultuous changes to people’s lives … including his own.

In addition to Harrison Ford and Jason Segel, the series stars Christa Miller, Jessica Williams, Michael Urie, Luke Tennie and Lukita Maxwell.

The 10-episode comedy was written by Ted Lasso co-creator Bill Lawrence and Ted Lasso writer/star Brett Goldstein as well as Segel.

The first two episodes of Shrinking are set to premier on Friday, January 27, on Apple TV+. They’ll be followed by one new episode weekly, every Friday.

Watching comes with a $6.99-per-month subscription to Apple’s streaming video service. Other comedies already available include Ted Lasso, Mythic Quest, Schmigadoon!, The Afterparty, Central Park, Bad Sisters and more.
