Apple started selling several additional accessories Wednesday, including potent and relatively affordable MagSafe chargers from Belkin and OtterBox.
Other new accessories in the Apple Store include the Eve Outdoor Cam, Philips Hue smart lighting and more.
Apple Store begins selling Belkin and OtterBox MagSafe chargers and other accessories
Apple began selling additional accessories in its online store Wednesday. They include a 70W Belkin charger with dual USB-C ports.
Belkin 70W Dual USB C Port Charger
You can use the Belkin 70W Dual USB C Port Charger to simultaneously juice up a MacBook at up to 50W and an iPhone or iPad at up to 20W. It’s great for charging MacBook Air, but it works with MacBook Pro models, too.
Compared to silicon-based chargers, the Belkin’s gallium nitride (GaN) material makes for a more compact design and improved charging efficiency. It goes for $59.95.
Apple rolled out its own 35W dual USB-C chargers earlier this month. Its compact and standard-size options cost $59 each.
Belkin’s charger offers double the total wattage for about the same price. That makes it a more versatile and affordable option for charging multiple Apple devices at the same time.
Belkin’s updated 3-in-1 charging stand
Belkin’s updated 3-in-1 wireless charging stand with MagSafe is also now for sale at Apple. The new version of the stand adds fast-charging support for the Apple Watch Series 7, so it can charge from 0% to 80% battery life in about 45 minutes.
The stand can charge an iPhone 12 or newer via MagSafe at up to 15W speeds. It can power up an AirPods or AirPods Pro case at up to 5W speeds. Available in white or black, it costs $149.95.
OtterBox 2-in-1 MagSafe Charger
Apple has also started selling OtterBox’s 2-in-1 wireless charging stand with MagSafe for $129.95.
The stand features a MagSafe charger for an iPhone (or an AirPods case tilted upright) along with a magnetic charging puck for the Apple Watch with fast-charging support for the Series 7.
Apple also added other accessories, including Belkin AirTag holders, Eve Outdoor Cam, Eve smart plugs, the Philips Hue Gradient Signe floor light and a special Apple bundle for the Insta360 ONE RS Twin Edition action camera.
