Zagg launched a version of the Pro Keys with Trackpad that’s compatible with Apple’s largest iPad. It combines a rigid, protective case with a removable keyboard with a built-in trackpad.

There were already versions of the keyboard case for smaller iPad models, and now there’s one for the 12.9-inch iPad Pro.

Zagg Pro Keys with Trackpad now for 12.9-inch iPad Pro

“Pro Keys with Trackpad is the ultimate wireless keyboard with a click-anywhere trackpad, making it easier than ever to use a tablet just like a laptop,” says Zagg.

The polycarbonate iPad case has a rigid core, rubberized edges and button covers, and corner bumpers, all of which combine to provide 6.6 feet (2m) of drop protection for the tablet. On the back is an adjustable stand.

The keyboard/trackpad unit is detachable. The Bluetooth keyboard can be paired with multiple devices and includes backlit keys. The trackpad also uses Bluetooth, and can be turned off when not needed.

There’s also a built-in Apple Pencil holder which also allows the stylus to charge.

The new version of the Zagg Pro Keys with Trackpad for 12.9-inch iPad Pro (3rd, 4th, 5th gen) is available now on the Zagg website for $199.99.

The version for the 11-inch iPad Pro (1st, 2nd, 3rd gen) and the 10.9-inch iPad Air (4th and 5th gen) is already on Zagg.com. They cost $149.99. A version for the 10.2-inch iPad (7th, 8th and 9th gen) is $139.99.

There’s also a variety of version of the Zagg Pro Keys without the trackpad. Don’t miss the Cult of Mac review.
