The Razer Phone Cooler Chroma is a fan designed to cool smartphones that heat up when playing demanding games. And it has colorful LEDs to make it look even cooler.

An iPhone version uses MagSafe. There’s also one for handsets without built-in magnets.

Games are some of the most processor-intensive software iPhones are tasked with. The result is excess heat. During a long gaming session, the handset can get noticeably warm. And that’s bad for the iPhone’s battery.

Razer’s answer is the Phone Cooler Chroma, which it revealed via Twitter on Tuesday:

“Its electronic Peltier cooling tile with heat sink draws heat away from your smartphone and dissipates it with a powerful yet quiet 7-blade fan, ensuring maximum airflow with minimal noise,” promises Razer. The fan spins at up to 6400 rpm but generates only 30dB.

To make it more stylish, the Phone Cooler Chroma sports a dozen customizable RGB LEDs beneath the fan. This offers 16.8 million colors, countless patterns, and dynamic in-game lighting effects, according to Razer.

Users will have to keep the fan plugged in. The accessory runs off a USB-C port, not an internal battery.

The version for iPhone attaches with the MagSafe magnets embedded in the back of the handset. Android users, or those with older Apple models, can turn to a Universal Clamp version.

Both versions of the Razer Phone Cooler Chroma sell for $59.99, and are available starting Tuesday on Razer’s website.
