Trying to find tweets posted by a certain user has long been a complicated process on Twitter. But it just got a lot easier on iPhone and iPad, thanks to a new button that can now be found on every user profile.

The button allows you to quickly search tweets posted by a specific account, while leaving out everything else.

Twitter makes searching accounts a lot easier

Twitter somehow makes it incredibly easy to lose an interesting tweet that you want to come back to later, and incredibly difficult to find it again. But if you can remember who posted it, searching is now significantly simpler on mobile.

Its new search function, which this week rolled out on iPhone and iPad, makes it quicker and easier to search tweets posted by specific accounts. You can find it by opening the profile of the account you want to search.

Simply tap the new search button and enter your search terms. Twitter will return results only from the account you’ve selected.

This feature should also expand its reach to Mac, Android, and the web at some point, but Twitter hasn’t told us when to expect that.
