Anker keeps the new products coming. This week’s release of a new 40W Nano Pro charger follows last month’s release of 20W Nano Pro chargers. The new ones pack more juice but remain compact and come in the same array of colors. They also feature dual USB-C PD ports.

New Anker 40W Nano Pro charger

Anker’s new 40W Nano Pro chargers have a lot in common with their 20W siblings. First, the lineup’s signature color palette of four slick hues is in place. Anker’s new ActiveShield power and temperature monitoring is in both charger lineups.

But the new charger diverge from the the 20W series in an important way.

Thanks in part to their beefier 40W charging output, the new chargers feature a dual-port design. Power distributes across both of the USB-C PD ports. That means you can charge your iPhone at full 20W speed plus your iPad, as well, for example.

A little bigger but not actually big

Anker’s new 40W Nano Pro chargers are a little bigger than some of the company’s other charging products, yet still compact. Apple’s own 20W adapter comes in a similar size, but with just one USB-C port.

So Anker’s new product manages to move more power from a similar footprint — and it can charge an extra device at the same time.

No folding plug

Unlike the 20W Nano Pro charger, the new 40W version lacks a folding plug. So the slightly bulker charger will be a little bulkier still in your bag. That’s not ideal, but the little power-house charger still seems like a good value.

You can get the Anker 40W Nano Pro charger in four colors: Arctic White, Cool Lavender, Glacier Blue and Black Ice colors. You’ll find them at Anker or from Amazon for $35.99. Note that Amazon appears to have only the Arctic White version right now.
