The new Logi Dock from Logitech is an all-in-one hub that’s designed to make working from home — and all the dreaded online meetings that come with it — a little more bearable. It packs almost all the ports you’ll ever need, one-touch meeting controls, and a built-in speakerphone.

It also features pretty lights that will let you know when a meeting is about to start. What more could you want?

Logitech notes that 77% of Americans believe that office clutter negatively affects their productivity, as well as their professional image. So it designed a dock that not only makes managing remote meetings easier, but also declutters your desktop by providing all the connections you need.

It’s compact and attractive design looks more like a sleek Bluetooth speaker than a traditional USB hub. But it’s much more than that — and it has a rather hefty price tag to match its powerful feature set.

Logi Dock does it all — in style

“When the pandemic hit, we spent an incredible amount of time with our end users to understand their needs and pain points in a work-from-home world. The result was Logi Dock,” said Logitech general manager Scott Wharton.

“This is a disruptive, simple, and modern docking solution along with key collaboration features like one-touch-to-join and better mute control. And not insignificantly, it turns our cluttered ‘rats nest’ of cabling into the elegant workspace we all aspire to have.”

The Logi Dock connects up to five USB peripherals using both USB-A and USB-C ports, as well as two monitors over DisplayPort and HDMI. It also keep your laptop charged, with up to 100W of power delivery, and it features a Kensington lock that prevents it from getting swiped.

All these connections, except for one that’s located on the side of the device for easier access, are found at the back of the Logi Dock, so the wires can be neatly routed down behind your desk where you’ll never have to see them.

More than just a USB hub

The Logi Dock’s built-in speakers and microphones with noise cancellation aim to provide a better experience during online meetings. And with Bluetooth connectivity, you can also play music from other devices while you work. Logitech promises “enterprise-grade audio.”

When paired with the Logi Tune app, integrated lights in the bottom of the Logi Dock come alive when a meeting is about to start. And there are one-touch buttons to join, mute, and end calls, enable or disable your camera, and more when paired with Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, and Zoom.

Logi Dock works with both macOS and Windows, and it will be available in graphite and white when it goes on sale this winter, priced at $399.
