Apple Music is now offering four months of free access to members of the U.S. military and veterans. The promotion is available to those who haven’t used Apple Music in the past, and signing up is simple.

Apple Music typically offers three months of free access to new subscribers — though in some countries you now have to pay a small fee. But for a select few, you can enjoy its 75 million songs for even longer.

Apple earlier this year doubled the free trial period for students in higher education. Now it is adding an additional month, for a total of four, for members of the U.S. military and service veterans.

Get Apple Music free for 4 months

To take advantage of the deal, you simple need to sign up for Apple Music through the promotional page on Apple’s website. You’ll need to use your ID.me account to verify you’re eligible, after which you’ll get a promotional code to redeem the free trial in Apple Music.

Codes expire on August 1, 2021, so you have until then to sign up. If you’re already enjoying a trial to Apple Music, signing into your ID.me account using the link above will add another month onto your subscription. However, the offer is not available to former subscribers.

Apple also offers special discounts to U.S. military and veterans. Simply shop through the Veterans and Military Purchase Program and verify with your ID.me account to get up to 10% off Apple purchases.
