The 12.9-inch version of the 2021 iPad Pro is such a hot item that Apple can’t keep it in stock, but that didn’t stop Amazon from having a sale. Buyers can pick up this tablet with 256GB of storage for the same price the 128GB configuration ordinarily sells for.

Yes, the 2021 iPad Pro is a computer 🙄

I use the 12.9-inch version of the 2021 iPad Pro as my primary computer, and it does everything I need for both my job and my personal life. I use it to write Cult of Mac articles with the help of a Brydge 12.9 Max+. And I run Pixelmator to touch up the images you see on the site. Image editing makes me appreciate the new tablet’s 8GB of RAM, and more expensive versions have 16GB.

After work, I read ebooks on the iPad, or watch movies and TV shows from a variety of streaming services. The mini-LED dispay in the 2021 iPad Pro makes these look amazing. Sometime I connect a HyperDrive USB-C hub and LikPok Hyper Mirror and watch on my TV.

The M1 processor may be overkill, but I’m not going to complain that my computer is too powerful. Especially as the iPad has stellar battery life.

I have the 128GB configuration because I prefer to store files on an external SSD. But the 256GB option is certainly a better for some people.

Especially as Amazon is selling the 12.9-inch iPad Pro with 265GB of storage for $1,099, which is $100 below the usual price. And the online retailer has the tablet ready to ship today.
