Survivor says its top-of-the-line new case “protects the iPad from extreme conditions, including drops, dust, sand, rain, impact, vibration, and a host of other environmental factors.”
Survivor All-Terrain has four layers of protection. Plus, there’s an integrated screen protector and a lip around the display. Buttons and ports are sealed off.
The detachable kickstand and handstrap combo lets the user prop up the tablet for landscape or portrait viewing. And it offers a secure handhold when on the go. An Apple Pencil holder sits on the side.
The Survivor All-Terrain for iPad 8 and iPad 7 is available now for $89.99.
Survivor also offers an alternate version called All-Terrain Medical created for hospitals and other medical professional applications. This case and kickstand/handstrap are made with FDA-compliant materials throughout.
Survivor Endurance
A lighter but still rugged iPad case option is the Survivor Endurance. It’s not quite as protective — there’s no screen protector, for example. But it does include the same kickstand/handstrap, and there’s also an Apple Pencil holder.
The Endurance hit the Survivor website today for $79.99. It’s also compatible with iPad 8 and iPad 7.
