Apple Fitness+ added screen legend Jane Fonda to the Time to Walk feature for Earth Day. She discusses her life as well as the fight against climate change.

Time to Walk promises interesting and encouraging audio stories to liven up walking for exercise. It’s part of Apple Fitness+, a $9.99-a-month subscription workout service built around Apple Watch.

Take a walk with Jane Fonda

In her Time to Walk episode, Fonda talks about standing up to her fears and the power of taking action to fight climate change. The actor, producer, author, and activist shares inspiring stories, photos and a few of her favorite songs, too.

She joins a collection of other celebrities who’ve inspired Fitness+ walkers. That includes Wanda Sykes, Anthony Ramos, Dolly Parton, Shawn Mendes, Uzo Aduba and Draymond Green.

New Time to Walk episodes appear in the Workout app on Apple Watch from a different guest each Monday. Jane Fonda’s debuts on April 19, 2021. The episodes — each 25 to 40 minutes long — are automatically downloaded to every Apple Watch with a Fitness+ subscription. When the user starts an episode, a workout automatically begins. The audio can be accessed with AirPods or paired Bluetooth headphones.

This isn’t Fonda’s only collaboration with Apple. She’s voicing a dragon in an upcoming Apple TV+ animated movie, and will be profiled in Dear… season 2, also on Apple’s streaming video service.
