CES 2021 bug Take your Apple MagSafe on the go with the Scosche MagicMount MSC. Designed for in-car use, this mount comes in versions that attach to air vents, cup holders or windows.

The company also used CES 2021 to unveil fresh PowerVolt USB-C car and wall chargers.

Scosche MagicMount MSC

Just so there’s no confusion, the MagicMount isn’t a charger itself. Instead, it’s a car mount for Apple’s latest wireless charger. “Designed specifically to work with Apple MagSafe chargers for the iPhone 12 series, these mounts securely hold and power the MagSafe,” notes Scosche.

The mount comes with a PowerVolt 20 watt USB-C Power Delivery car adapter. That connects to the Apple MagSafe charger that powers the iPhone at 15W. And it holds Apple’s latest devices thanks to magnets built into the handsets.

MagicMount MSC mounts are available in several options, with prices ranging from $29.99 to $39.99. That covers three variations: Window/Dash, Cup Holder and a 4-in-1 kit that features Swing-Arm Dash and vent, and Lock-Nut Vent and Dash.

As it requires MagSafe, this product is only for the iPhone 12 series.

New PowerVolt USB-C Car and Wall chargers

Because the iPhone 12 doesn’t come with a wall charger in the box, Scosche unveiled a line of USB-C wall chargers and car power adapters.

That includes the PowerVolt 20W in-car model that’s also bundled with the MagicMount MSC. There’s also a 60W version. And ones with a variety of ports.

Scosche’s lineup of car chargers range in price from $19.99 to $34.99. And the wall chargers range from $24.99 to $49.99.

Several MagSafe-related accessories came to light at CES 2021. That includes a Belkin desk charger that also wirelessly charges AirPods.
