It’s Friday, which means only one thing: weekend tomorrow, more post-election craziness, fresh uploads on Apple TV+.

New content is slightly thin on the ground this week, with only two new shows debuting.  This week, those include a new celebrity interview on The Oprah Conversation and a fresh episode of the travelog series Long Way Up. Here’s what you need to know.

Episode nine of The Oprah Conversation features Oprah Winfrey in conversation with the multi award-winning musician, songwriter and producer Stevie Wonder. The episode preview reads as follows:

“Sharing his urgent message of love, Stevie opens up about how COVID-19 has touched his life and his hopes for a troubled world.”

There’s also episode 10 of Long Way Up, the travelog series in which actor Ewan McGregor and Charley Boorman drive from Ushuaia in Argentina through South and Central America to Los Angeles in the United States. You can read Cult of Mac reviewer Scout Tafoya’s review of the show here.

The preview for this week’s episode, titled “Nicaragua, Honduras, Guatemala & Mexico” reads as follows:

“The guys get a little too close to the Masaya volcano in Nicaragua. Crossing into Honduras, they meet with UNICEF and prepare for Mexico.”

Quieter than it should have been

Compared to some of the recent weeks’ offerings, this week is a relatively quiet one for Apple TV+. That’s partly due to the fact that Tehran and Ted Lasso, two of the best shows Apple TV+ has shown so far, are now over. You have to assume that, in a normal year, Apple would be debuting the new seasons of The Morning Show, For All Mankind, See, and the other shows which arrived on Apple TV+ when it launched last November. However, those have been pushed back due to COVID-19-related production challenges.

Available to watch on Apple TV+

Apple TV+ is available for $4.99 per month, or for free for one year if you buy a new iPad, iPhone, Mac or Apple TV. It is also available as part of Apple’s bundle subscription service Apple One for a knock-down price.
