WWDC 2020 Wondering whether your iPhone will be compatible with iOS 14 this fall? You’re in luck as long as you’re using an iPhone 6s, iPhone 6s Plus, or later. Every handset compatible with iOS 13 is getting another upgrade this year.

Despite all the new features and improvements, it seems iOS 14 won’t require more powerful hardware. Even iPhone models that turn five years old this year will be compatible with Apple’s newest update this fall.

Is your iPhone compatible with iOS 14?

Here’s the full list of compatible devices:

  • iPhone 11
  • iPhone 11 Pro
  • iPhone 11 Pro Max
  • iPhone XS
  • iPhone XS‌ Max
  • iPhone XR
  • ‌iPhone‌ X
  • ‌iPhone‌ 8 and ‌iPhone‌ 8 Plus
  • ‌iPhone‌ 7 and 7 Plus
  • ‌iPhone SE‌
  • ‌iPhone‌ 6s and 6s Plus
  • iPod touch (7th-generation)

And for iPadOS 14:

  • iPad Pro (all models)
  • iPad (7th-generation)
  • iPad (5th-generation)
  • iPad mini (4th-generation or later)
  • iPad Air (2nd-generation or later)

Everyone will get their hands on iOS 14 and iPadOS 14 this fall, and as always, they’ll be free to download. Developers should be able to start testing the first betas later today.
