We’re still several months away from September’s likely unveiling of the next-gen Apple Watch. But a new concept video from the YouTube channel ConceptsiPhone provides a compelling glimpse at what a new Apple Watch could possibly be.

While it’s not dramatically different from the Apple Watch we’ve got currently, it does feature a stunning edge-to-edge display that brings it more in line with the newer iPhones and iPads. Besides, it’s got a cool video with dramatic music to get you psyched up for September. Check it out below:

Not too much has been reported about this year’s Apple Watch Series 6. A report from late last year had Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo suggest that the Apple Watch Series 6 will boast superior performance, improved wireless speeds, and… maybe a focus on scuba diving? Meanwhile, watchOS 7 is rumored to add kid-friendly Activity Rings, new Watch faces, sleep-tracking, and maybe even blood oxygen readings.

Provided that everything goes smoothly with manufacturing, I’d expect Apple Watch to debut in September. However, Apple’s supply chain is still feeling the effects of the coronavirus pandemic. There are rumors that iPhone 12 manufacturing has been impacted, meaning that other Apple devices could be delayed as well. Then again, the quantity of Apple Watches is significantly smaller than the number of iPhones Apple has to make.

What are you hoping for from this year’s Apple Watch? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.
