Apple leaker Jon Prosser shared new details — including the alleged price and storage options — for the 2020 iPhone 12 refresh in a new video Monday.
Prosser said Apple will offer a pair of regular iPhone 12 handsets and another pair of iPhone 12 Pro devices. Each line will sport two screen size options — although the iPhone 12 Max will be the same size as the iPhone 12 Pro regular, while the 12 Pro Max will be biggest of all.
But you’d better be ready to shell out for the most expensive option!
In the video, Prosser says the standard-tier iPhone 12 will offer 5.4-inch and 6.1-inch OLED displays. Meanwhile, the iPhone 12 Pro models will come in 6.1-inch and 6.7-inch options and will boast improved 10-bit color depth.
The Pro handsets reportedly will pack 6GB of RAM, while the standard tier will come with just 4GB. The high-end Pro models also will have stainless steel bodies and an improved LiDAR camera setup like the one in the latest iPad Pro. The iPhone 12 models will come with aluminum bodies and a dual-camera setup.
As far as pricing goes, Prosser thinks the lowest-cost iPhone 12 will retail for $649 for a 128GB model and $749 for a 256GB model. The iPhone 12 Max will cost $749 and $849 for these same storage options.
Meanwhile, the iPhone 12 Pro will retail at $999 for a 128GB option. A 256GB option will sell for $1,099, and a 512GB option will cost $1,299. Those same storage options for the iPhone 12 Pro Max will cost $1,099, $1,199 and $1,399.
